Forested Space Country Retreat is owned and operated by Rachel and Terry Wright who have lived in the area since 1993. In March 2004 a Villa in need of a new space and some TLC was transported from Bulls to Tikokino – over the Pahiatua track (as the Manawatu Gorge was closed due to flooding) This character Villa was loving restored to its current state.

Terry is a Horticultural Contractor and Rachel has her own Book keeping Business. They have a daughter Claudia and a fox terrier called Rufus along with other animals on their 5 acre lifestyle block. Having had so many family and friends come to stay over the years and always comment on the quiet and relaxed pace of the area they thought it would be nice to offer that to others hence the concept of Forested Space Country Retreat was born.

They also wanted to provide a space for seminars, workshops and smaller functions that was unique and different to what was in the market place.

Rachel is a keen gardener and operates Healing Works (visit website) which involves her Clairvoyant and Medium work. Terry is an enthusiastic DIY- er having restored two villa's and is a fantastic cook.
